Spot the difference

From Richard Littlejohn's column in the Mail -

"A local clergyman has been investigated for hate crime. Police arrived at Attleborough Baptist Church after receiving a single complaint about a poster implying that non-Christians will burn in hell. Officers said the poster was ‘deemed offensive’ and decided it would be recorded as a ‘hate incident’. It has now been taken down."

And from a popular Malaysian online newspaper -

A senior citizen was jailed two months and fined a total of RM4,000 by the Syariah High Court here on Tuesday for possessing two books which were deemed to be against Islam and for disrespecting the religious authority."

The difference is that it's only a matter of time.

  1. Yes Kath, racism is the new black, so to speak. And according to my last post but one, we won't be able to veto EU budgets for much longer, either.

  2. Don't see the issue - Clegg and Cable are most certainly going to burn in hell.

  4. A comment from Kath Lissenden went missing. It was the first comment in the list. Here it is again -

Why am I not surprised after all we are all racists now.........
And apparently the EU now want Britain to stump up 500 million pounds to be given to the Ukraine.
So now we are all expected to put our hands in our pockets to find funding for the EU's war in Ukraine .
    I could scream sometimes......
