Cameron gives up even more powers to the EU

"Renegotiation" Cameron is at it again. Here Ian Parker-Joseph reports on the next shedload of sovereignty to be yielded to Brussels. (I can't remember Labour or the LibDems complaining about any of these betrayals, can you?)

On the 1st November 2014 the right of Parliament to legislate over us in 43 areas, the important ones, will be removed and be made subject to approval. They call it QMV, Qualified Majority Voting. Each member State will lose it right of Veto over these areas, so Cameron’s idea of negotiation to recover any areas goes out the window at the same time. The following areas of competence will switch from requiring unanimous approval of all member states to qualified majority voting only:

  1. But surly we all always knew Camoron would not be able to deliver on his pledge to renegotiate, his whole "you will only get a referendum with me" was always just political lip service to try and keep people from turning away from his party in the run up to the euro's and next years general election.
Can there be anyone left in this country who does not see Camoron for the liar he is.
Apparently we now have a zombie government (I have to tell you I thought they had been a zombie government from day one) this apparently means they have run out of nastiness and spite to heap out on us mere mortals in the form of highly dubious legislation and will spend the next year dickering and twiddling their thumbs, also a pity they didn't do THAT from day one too. So whatever camoron says should be taken with a large pinch of salt because the man is delusional and a compulsive liar.

  2. Couldn't agree more. He hasn't changed since his days as a PR spiv for Carlton Communications.

  3. The only good thing about this complete tosser (Camoron) is that he's likely to be job-hunting after May 2015 along with his little EU loving sidekick Clegg.
