Terrorist executed by Syrian government - Foreign Office in tears

A "British" man smuggled himself into Syria to help bring down the government, but the army caught him -

"Dr Abbas Khan, 32, an orthopaedic surgeon from Streatham, south London, had been held in Syria for more than a year but died only days before he expected to be released. He was seized by government troops in the rebel-held city of Aleppo after entering the country on a humanitarian mission without a visa. Foreign Office minister Hugh Robertson said: 'There is no excuse whatsoever for the treatment that he has suffered by the Syrian authorities who have in effect murdered a British national who was in their country to help people injured during their civil war.'"

I thought we weren't at war with Syria, despite government ambitions to the contrary? I thought we weren't at war with Russia either, but the government got very upset at the arrest of Greenpeace thugs for piracy earlier this year. And I thought we weren't at war with Israel either, yet innocent Israelis are threatened with arrest if they ever visit Britain.

On the other hand, we should be at war with Sinn Fein-IRA, not continually giving them more control over Northern Ireland. And we should also be at war with islamists trying to turn the UK into a caliphate, many of whom are now training for this task in Syria. Welcome to Britain, the friendliest country in the world to terrorists.

Extra news (December 23) - it has emerged that the Home Secretary has been quietly (for fear of upsetting the moslems) stripping away the citizenship of 37 UK nationals who visited Syria to fight for the terrorists.
