Bent coppers

First - as usual, no officers are to be charged with misconduct in public office, ie taking money from hacks -

Two Sun journalists have been charged with conspiracy to commit misconduct in public office..... former Broadmoor healthcare assistant Robert Neave is also to be charged....between March 2002 and January 2011 the pair conspired together and with employees at Broadmoor high-security hospital, Thames Valley and Surrey police forces and British Army officials to commit misconduct in a public office.

Second, the "Independent" Police Complaints Committee is happy that Essex Police drove a fireman to suicide over his brigade's initiation ceremonies-

Essex Police confirmed it had referred Mr Sibley's death to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) because the man had recently been contacted by officers. The IPCC has referred the matter back to Essex Police after concluding it was satisfied with the force's handling of the case. Police and the fire service have not commented on the exact nature of the inquiry but it is understood the allegations are of a sexual nature, possibly linked to initiation ceremonies.

Third, the Lockerbie bomber's friend wants men gaoled on a compo-seeker's say-so -

Mr MacAskill...felt compelled to act for 'women and children who have suffered in silence, often behind closed doors where justice just didn't take place', and insisted that the standard of proof would remain 'proof beyond reasonable doubt' through 'quality of evidence rather than quantity of evidence'....Sir Menzies Campbell [said] 'This is populism at its worst. Corroboration is an essential component of the presumption of innocence and a necessary bulwark against false accusation and injustice'."

So it will now be even easier for Scottish coppers to reach their unofficial rape targets by hook or by crook. Lawyers are dismayed at the news, but victim culture "charities" are tickled pink, as the increased demand for their dubious services will enable them to claim even bigger grants in future.

No doubt many of Scotland's growing number of moslem paedophiles will continue to escape justice, though.
